Concrete Solid Brick Product Introduction

Concrete solid bricks are made from cement, aggregates, and optionally added admixtures and additives, which are mixed with water, molded, and cured to form concrete solid bricks (referred to as bricks). They are primarily used for masonry wall construction. In recent years, their application has become increasingly widespread.

Concrete solid bricks are a new type of wall material. With China's ban on the production and use of clay solid bricks and the prohibition of destroying farmland for brick-making, concrete solid bricks have developed rapidly and are an ideal substitute for ordinary clay bricks.

Standards for concrete solid bricks: Water absorption and density grades fully adopt American standard indicators. The dry shrinkage rate indicator value is higher than the requirements of the American standard. The judgment methods (schemes) for the four main indicators—strength, water absorption, dry shrinkage rate, and density grade—fully adopt American standard methods.

2. Strength Grades of Concrete Solid Bricks

Concrete solid bricks are mainly used for building load-bearing walls and foundation parts of construction projects.

Strength is divided into six grades: MU40, MU35, MU30, MU25, MU20, and MU15.

Different strength grades can be selected based on the brick's purpose and application location.

3. Density Grades of Concrete Solid Bricks

According to Chinese standards (concrete solid bricks), density is classified as:

Grade A   Greater than or equal to 2100 kg/m3

Grade B   1681—2099 kg/m3

Grade C   Less than or equal to 1600 kg/m3

4. Unit Weight of Concrete Solid Bricks

The unit weight of concrete solid bricks, also known as specific weight, is generally (2350—2380 kg/m3).

5. Specifications of Concrete Solid Bricks

The general specification is: 240*115*53 mm, with a compressive strength grade of MU25, density grade of B, and qualified concrete bricks. Other specifications are determined through negotiation between the supplier and the buyer.
