GH90 Process Performance Requirements:

GH90 alloy is prone to internal cracking during forging. Heavy hammering is not allowed, and low-temperature edge chamfering is prohibited. The furnace charging temperature for ingots should not exceed 700°C, with a final heating temperature of 1150°C ± 10°C. The forging start temperature should be no lower than 1060°C, and the finish forging temperature should be no lower than 950°C.

The average grain size of the alloy is closely related to the degree of deformation and the finish forging temperature.

In the solution-treated state, the alloy can undergo inert gas tungsten arc welding and flash welding.

After charging into the furnace, preheat in the low-temperature zone for about 20–30 minutes, then push into the high-temperature zone for heating at 1150–1180°C.

Used in turbine discs, blades, high-temperature fasteners, clamps, seals, and elastic components, etc.
