Surface Contact Plate Usage Method
1. Remove the plate from the culture medium storage area and restore it to room temperature in the workspace.
2. Deliver the entire package to the test site.
3. Open the lid of the contact plate to allow the culture medium to fully contact the surface to be tested. If necessary, gently press the center of the contact plate bottom with a finger for about 10 seconds, then gently lift and carefully cover the lid from one side of the contact plate.
4. Wipe the test area with a disinfectant or sporicide to remove any residue of the culture medium.
5. Remove the contact plate from the clean room and incubate it inverted at the specified temperature and time.
6. Observe and count.
