Introduction

Water-resistant silica gel is a non-homogeneous molded silica gel made from general-purpose silica gel through further processing. It appears as white or gray porous granules, insoluble in water and inorganic acids, with its main component being SiO?·nH?O.

Applications

1. This product is mainly used for drying and purifying compressed air, serving as an adsorbent for acetylene and carbon dioxide in the air separation industry; as a carrier for industrial catalysts; for drying industrial gases, water purification, and other aspects. It acts as a desiccant for various gases, a pre-stage buffer desiccant for molecular sieves and silica gel protection beds, a catalyst carrier, and an ion adsorbent.

2. Air drying, acetylene adsorption in the preparation process of liquid air and liquid oxygen.

3. Used as a liquid adsorbent and catalyst carrier in industries such as petrochemicals, power, and brewing, and for water purification in water treatment.
