Crodamide Erucamide

Crodamides are derived from natural plants, are biodegradable, environmentally non-polluting, and compatible with various types of plastics. 

【Physical Properties】:

Applications ：
1. Erucamide is an excellent slip and anti-block agent for polyethylene and polypropylene films, especially LLDPE. It is recommended for use when it is necessary to reduce friction between films or between films and production equipment, and to improve the operation of packaging lines. 
2. It has outstanding internal lubrication in PVC. 
3. It can accelerate extrusion and blow molding rates, resulting in smooth and glossy surfaces of the molded products. 
4. It can be used as a dispersant for high-grade lubricants, dyes, and coatings. 
5. It is a high-quality dispersant for ink products. 

Slip Mechanism of Crodamides ：
In the molten state of plastic, Crodamide molecules are uniformly distributed within the plastic. After the plastic cools and solidifies, the amide molecules migrate to the surface, forming a thin lubricating layer. This amide layer reduces the surface friction of the plastic and prevents unwanted adhesion between plastic layers. 
After the addition of amide, the surface friction of the plastic changes over time.
