Properties: Colorless cubic crystals or white granular powder, belonging to the cubic crystal system. Odorless, salty taste, slightly bitter. Specific gravity 3.203, melting point 747.0°C, boiling point 1390°C. Absorbs moisture in the air and forms lumps, but does not deliquesce. Easily soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol. Its aqueous solution is neutral and conductive.

Uses: Used in the production of photographic films; in medicine as a diuretic and sedative, enhancing the inhibitory processes of the cerebral cortex. In the synthesis of fragrances, pharmaceuticals, and dyes, it is used as a brominating agent. Also commonly used as a chemical reagent.

Packaging and Storage: Composite bags, cardboard drums 30×37(cm) lined with two layers of plastic bags, 25Kg per bag/drum. Store in a dry, ventilated place, sealed and protected from light to prevent moisture absorption. In case of fire, use water and fire extinguishers.
