Product Introduction
This product uses ultrasound to measure the tibia or radius, completing the measurement within 30 seconds, and displays the waveform in analog form on the monitor during measurement.
This product is a Class II active medical device and must be operated by trained professionals.
Scope of Application: Ultrasound detection of bone density in the tibia or radius.
Working Principle: Measures the speed of sound (SOS) along the direction parallel to the tibia or radius using axial reflection technology, while calculating a set of parameters to reflect bone condition.
Probe Main Uses:
KJ-PW-1MHz ultrasound probe is suitable for normal subjects;
KJ-PW-1.25MHz ultrasound probe is more suitable for normal and slightly obese subjects;
KJ-PW-1.25MHz-mini ultrasound probe is more suitable for infants, children, and pediatric subjects.
Software Functions: Set date and time, input subject information; prompt measurement steps, print preview and print diagnostic reports; calculate and display T-score, Z-score, adult ratio, age-matched ratio, bone physiological age, BQI, RRF, EOA based on SOS; instrument calibration, set interface parameters (for Windows platform), report information, startup (for Windows platform), pre-print preview, touchscreen input (for Windows platform), language, restore default functions, report query, delete, backup/restore reports; the software can generate a QR code, which can be scanned with an internet-enabled mobile device to access test results.
Optional Dual Monitor Display
Windows software has dual monitor display functionality. When an additional monitor is connected to the computer running the software, the additional monitor can display custom content. The Android version does not have this feature.
Two Power Supply Modes
For user convenience, this product offers two power supply modes (DC power supply mode and AC power supply mode) for users to choose from based on actual conditions.
Measurement Location: Distal third of the radius
Use a positioning ruler to measure from the arm to the tip of the middle finger (excluding nail length), mark at half the length—this location is the distal third of the radius.
Report Output
For subjects aged ≥20 years
Display subject ID, name, age, gender, date of birth, and measurement site; measurement results show the measurement date, T-score chart, charts comparing T-score and Z-score with average values (orange bars represent the subject's T-score and Z-score, green bars represent the average T-score and Z-score), SOS value, T-score, Z-score, adult ratio, age-matched ratio, bone physiological age, BQI, RRF, and EOA; result analysis displays the software's assessment of the subject's bone condition (including normal, osteopenia, osteoporosis).
For subjects aged <20 years
Display subject ID, name, age, gender, date of birth, and measurement site; results show measurement date, SOS value, Z-score, bone physiological age, age-matched ratio, Z-score chart, obesity chart, etc.; in the growth analysis list, displayed values include father's height, mother's height, current height, weight, age-based reference height, height prediction, and body mass index.
Landscape/Portrait Screen Switching
The Android version can switch between landscape and portrait interfaces based on how the tablet or phone is placed (if portrait/landscape lock is set in the system, it will display according to the system settings). The functionality is identical in both orientations, with only the interface layout changing.
Test Record Search
Search criteria can include name, ID number, year of birth, and examination time. Only one of name, ID number, or year of birth can be filled in. After entering the search criteria, click the "Search" button to retrieve all subject records meeting these conditions. These subject details will be displayed in a list.
Custom Report
Users can customize whether to display hospital information, bone physiological age, pediatric charts, predicted osteoporosis onset age, doctor's signature, department, bed number, contact number, and header icon in the report.
