This product is a colorless transparent oily liquid, miscible with water and polar organic solvents such as ethanol, propanol, propylene glycol, etc. It can also be mixed with BASF's Protectol series liquids such as Protectol GA50 and Protectol PP. Due to its excellent solubility, it can integrate with various types of products and is used to solubilize and dissolve multiple raw materials and active ingredients. In external in vitro studies, Protectol PE does not irritate the skin and is not a mutagenic substance.

This product exhibits broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity, effective across a wide pH range. Its minimum inhibitory concentration ranges from 0.06% to 1.00%.

This product can be used for preservation and sterilization in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and household cleaning products. It is suitable for disinfecting and preserving wet wipes, as well as for the preservation of cosmetics and personal care products. It is safe and non-irritating to the human body (pharmaceutically, it can be used for preserving eye drops and injectable solutions). It is easily compatible with other bactericidal active ingredients to enhance the activity of other antimicrobial agents. Its bactericidal activity is effective across a wide pH range, making it suitable for various formulation types.

In detergents and cosmetics, it serves as a penetrant and bactericide. It is also used as a fragrance preservative and diluent in cosmetics, as well as an excellent solvent and penetration aid for hair dye pigments and nail polish colorants.

This product is packaged in 25kg and 230kg plastic drums. The packaging containers are labeled with the product name, specifications, batch number, net weight, and manufacturer name.

During transportation, handle with care and avoid impact.

Store in a sealed container at room temperature in a well-ventilated, dry, and cool place. This product has shown no signs of instability when stored at an ambient temperature of 50°C for up to 12 months. Under normal storage conditions, the shelf life is at least 24 months.
