II. Properties
Soluble in softened water ≤0.3% (W/V), 10% sodium hydroxide ≤20% (W/V), ethanol (isopropanol) ≤0.1% (W/V), dimethylformamide ≤20% (W/V), 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidone ≤40% (W/V). Compatible with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants, enhancing component contact and improving efficacy.
III. Applications
Water treatment biocide: Active ingredient in industrial circulating water, oilfield reinjection water, oilfield injection water biocides, and biocide formulations.
● Used for sterilization and algae control in circulating water
● Used for killing sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB), saprophytic bacteria in oilfield reinjection water, and for sterilization and preservation of drilling mud
Protectol DZ is active against a broad spectrum of bacteria, including anaerobic sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) and fungi.

V. Storage and Transportation
Dazomet should be stored in sealed packaging, under dry conditions, at ambient temperature, with a shelf life of two years. Handle with care during transportation and stack properly.
