The ISA-392GA is an integrated feeder protection and control device that provides protection, measurement, control, and operation functions for feeders, transformer groups, and sections.

2.1 Basic Configuration

Protection Functions
1. Three-stage current protection that can be independently enabled or disabled
2. Inverse-time overcurrent protection with selectable extreme, very, or general operating characteristics
3. Phase current acceleration protection with selectable pre-acceleration or post-acceleration
4. Three-phase single-shot auto-reclosing (with optional synchronous check and dead voltage check)
5. Under-frequency load shedding
6. Under-voltage load shedding
7. Zero-sequence overcurrent protection, zero-sequence post-acceleration protection
8. Overload protection
9. Control circuit break alarm with optional auto-reclosing blocking function
10. Bus PT break alarm with optional blocking of voltage-related protections
11. Independent operating circuit and fault recording
Measurement and Control Functions:
12. 3 position remote signals collected via the operating circuit; 20 remote signal inputs, with optional auto-reclosing blocking, external reset, and device maintenance; multiple soft remote signals, including general fault signal, auto-reclosing charging flag, and protection soft plates
13. 18 telemetry quantities including Ia, Ib, Ic, Ua, Ub, Uc, 3I0, Uab, Ubc, Uca, Pa, Pb, Q, S, COSφ, Fr
14. Remote control of switches, with recording and statistics of remote control operations
15. Large-capacity event recording, SOE recording, self-check recording, instantaneous protection blocking recording, and printing (optional function)
