Inverter Selection Principles

Grid-connected inverters are key equipment in photovoltaic power generation systems, playing a critical role in the conversion efficiency and reliability of PV systems. The main technical principles for inverter selection are as follows:

(1) Reliable performance and high efficiency:

Currently, the power generation cost of photovoltaic systems is relatively high. If the inverter consumes too much energy or fails during operation, it will inevitably lead to a loss in total power generation and reduced economic efficiency of the system. Therefore, the inverter must be reliable, highly efficient, and capable of outputting maximum power (MPPT) based on the current operating conditions of the solar panel modules.

(3) Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT):

(4) Low waveform distortion and high power factor:
