Features 1) Functions for Optimizing Production Capacity The new platform of R&S ZVB adopts fundamental mixing technology, which has been used in the ZVR series vector network analyzers for 10 years. Its dynamic range is 123 dB, trace noise is less than 0.01 dB, and the measurement bandwidth range is 1 Hz to 500 kHz. With a measurement bandwidth of 500 kHz, the sweep time for 201 points is less than 8 ms. Measurement time can be further optimized through segmented sweeping, with the number of segments limited by the instrument's memory. Sweep parameters (such as frequency point spacing, measurement bandwidth, source level) within each frequency band can be independently set to suit the device under test. Different settings can be stored as files on the hard disk and loaded into the instrument's memory, with each setting representing an independent window. In manual mode, switching between different settings is as simple as a mouse click (setting switching); in remote control mode, setting switching can significantly reduce switching time. Once these settings (including calibration data) are called, they are automatically saved in RAM, allowing rapid switching between different settings via the IEC bus in less than 10 ms. Since trace data is transmitted via the IEC/IEEE bus or LAN port simultaneously with data acquisition, the data transmission time of R&S ZVB is negligible. Based on the multi-source concept, R&S ZVB allows grouping of test ports. Parallel measurement configurations can be defined in the "Port Manager" dialog. Each port group can be measured independently relative to other groups, enabling all groups to measure simultaneously in parallel, thus allowing multiple devices under test or multiple ports of a single device to be measured at the same time.
