DOLPH-SPRAY ER-41 Red Varnish SYNTHITE ER-41 Red Insulating Varnish

Product Description: ER-41 is a high-temperature; fast-curing, air-drying, polyurethane varnish, and is an excellent insulator.

Coating for all electrical and electronic components. SYNTHITE ER-41 is also available in spray form, such as DOLPH-SPRAY ER-41.

Application Guide:

Stir ER-41 to mix uniformly, as sedimentation may occur. Apply by brushing, dipping, or spraying. ER-41 can be used in many applications and its viscosity can be adjusted with T-200 thinner. For spraying, typically thin by about 20-30%.

In each application, the film thickness per side should be maintained at no more than 2.0 mils. This allows for complete solvent release and proper curing.

ER-41 will air-dry, allowing handling within 30 minutes. To achieve chemical resistance, allow to air dry for at least 24 hours.

Special Precautions

When applying ER-41 by spraying, care should be taken to keep the spraying area clean. Filters and other waste in the area should be soaked in water and disposed of in safe containers.

Storage and Shelf Life

Store in a cool, dry place (65-75°F, 18-24°C), away from direct sunlight.

Shelf life (in drums) - 1 year (at 21°C).

Shelf life (in aerosol cans) - 18 months at 70°F (21°C).
