HUMISEAL 1A27 is a PU/Urethane conformal coating for PCBs by Humiseal, USA. It has a hard and brittle texture and, like all polyurethane conformal coatings, offers excellent solvent resistance, superior abrasion resistance, and good moisture resistance. It performs stably in low-temperature environments but has poor high-temperature performance. Additionally, it is difficult to rework (due to its chemical solvent resistance, common solvents cannot remove the coating from the PCB), which limits its application range. It cures in air, is a single-component PU formulation, and is widely used on printed circuit boards, providing good protection and excellent electrical properties.
