Circular Vacuum Leak Detection Hood

Purpose: Used for detecting leak points at T-shaped welds and repair welds of HDPE membranes.

Scope of Application: T-shaped welds (fillet welds).

Normal Test Negative Pressure Range: Not less than 20-40 KPa (general pressure range during detection).

Achievable Maximum Negative Pressure: Not less than 60 KPa (maximum design pressure of the vacuum hood; the maximum negative pressure the vacuum hood can achieve).

Effective Leak Detection Size: Not less than ?280 mm.

Vacuum Pump: Micro dry oil-free vacuum pump (imported from Germany); used for handling air and dry gases, with an ultimate vacuum level reaching an absolute pressure of 100 mbar or above.

Connection Method Between Vacuum Hood and Pump: Quick-connect coupling should be adopted for easy disassembly and assembly.

Rectangular Vacuum Leak Detection Hood

Purpose: The rectangular vacuum leak detection hood is used for detecting leak points at X-shaped welds and repair welds of HDPE membranes.

Scope of Application: Lap joints and butt welds (straight welds) at tank bottoms; suitable for storage tanks of all diameters.

Normal Test Negative Pressure Range: Not less than 20-40 KPa (general pressure range during detection).

Achievable Maximum Negative Pressure: Not less than 60 KPa (maximum design pressure of the vacuum hood; the maximum negative pressure the vacuum hood can achieve).

Effective Leak Detection Size: Not less than 680 X 120 (rectangular).

Vacuum Pump: Micro dry oil-free vacuum pump (imported from Germany); used for handling air and dry gases, with an ultimate vacuum level reaching an absolute pressure of 100 mbar or above.

Connection Method Between Vacuum Hood and Pump: Quick-connect coupling should be adopted for easy and rapid disassembly and assembly.
