I. Overview of Reverse Osmosis Equipment:
Reverse osmosis equipment is a high-end device used for water treatment. II. Working Principle of Reverse Osmosis Equipment:
Raw water is first passed through pretreatment devices such as quartz sand filters, activated carbon filters, and precision filters. The pore size of the RO membrane is extremely small, only 1/10,000 μm (equivalent to 1/6,000 the size of E. coli and 1/300 the size of a virus), effectively trapping various inorganic ions, organic matter, heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, and other impurities in the water, achieving a very high level of water purity.
During the filtration process of reverse osmosis equipment, the pressure on both sides of the membrane differs. Using the pressure difference as the driving force, raw water is forced through the reverse osmosis membrane. Water with lower salt concentration tends to permeate toward the higher concentration side. When the pressure on the saline water side exceeds the osmotic pressure on the other side, reverse flow occurs, initiating the reverse osmosis process. This process effectively removes impurities from the water, meeting the physicochemical indicators and hygiene standards required for drinking water.
