Scope of application

Mainly used for protection in high-resistivity environments such as soil and freshwater, localized applications in confined spaces, pipeline protection within casings, temporary cathodic protection for pipelines, protection of storage tanks and pipeline networks, and grounding grids for preventing strong electrical interference.

Product features

The diamond-shaped zinc ribbon anode complies with ASTM-B418 (Type 1/Type 2) standards and possesses excellent mechanical properties. Ribbon zinc anodes are primarily used for protecting pipelines within casings, temporary cathodic protection for pipelines, protection of storage tanks and pipeline networks, and preventing AC interference and lightning interference from strong electrical lines on buried pipelines. Ribbon zinc anodes are typically used in media with resistivity below 2000 Ω·cm. If the protected steel structure has a good coating or in moist soil conditions, they can be used in media with resistivity above 2000 Ω·cm.
