The FR-10 and FR-12 10.4"/12.1" color LCD radars are marine radar displays composed of dedicated vertical display units that can be freely combined with Furuno's DRS series antennas to meet various detection needs. These radars incorporate the latest technology, including Risk Visualization—a new feature that provides visual information about potential collision areas and the movement of all surrounding vessels—as well as "Echo Averaging, Target Analyzer, Fast Target Tracking," and many other functions to help you track any target during navigation and operation, and customize AIS display.
Risk Visualization is a technology that displays potential collision areas based on the current position and movement of all surrounding vessels. By observing the screen, you can quickly and intuitively understand the situation around the ship. Additionally, alerts in different colors—from green (normal) to red (danger)—based on the level of collision threat will help you assess the danger level and plan your next move. This is our first commercial mid-range radar to adopt this feature, contributing to the continuous improvement of maritime navigation safety.
