The continuous winding process of FRP winding equipment is used to produce GRP pipes and storage tanks in a continuous manner. It involves applying a mixed FRP laminate onto a continuous forming mold on a moving steel belt. The mold is formed by a continuous rigid belt wound around a horizontal mandrel. A layer of lining film is wound onto the mold, and pre-mixed resin/sand (raw materials such as direct roving, chopped strand, quartz sand, polyester resin, etc.) is simultaneously and continuously distributed to the appropriate positions on the mold. Afterwards, a layer of surface roving is applied—after winding, the pipe is transported to the curing station—where online cutting and polishing are completed. 1. Set the "Automatic Manual Semi-automatic" switch of the FRP winding machine to the "Semi-automatic" position, and the machine will enter semi-automatic mode; 2. Set the main shaft switch "Forward Main Shaft Reverse" to "Forward" or "Reverse," and slowly rotate the main shaft speed control knob to start the main shaft rotation; 3. As needed, set the "Left Carriage Right" switch to "Left" or "Right." The "Current Winding Mode" window will indicate the carriage movement direction, such as "Headstock" or "Tailstock," and the carriage of the FRP winding machine will start moving; when the main shaft accelerates, the carriage also automatically accelerates. 4. In semi-automatic mode, the initial roving width is the value set during "Linear Design." If there is a discrepancy with the actual pitch in semi-automatic mode, the roving width can be increased or decreased using the "Carriage Accelerate" and "Carriage Decelerate" buttons; 5. The length of semi-automatic winding is arbitrary and depends on the position of the "Left Carriage Right" switch of the FRP winding machine. When the switch is in the middle position, the carriage stops; 6. The stopping method for the FRP winding machine is: first set the "Left Carriage Right" switch to the middle position, then set the "Automatic Manual Semi-automatic" switch to the middle position to exit semi-automatic mode.
