Industrial filter cloth offers excellent filtration and absorption properties, with high compressive strength. It is suitable for filtering petroleum, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, industrial oils, and industrial organic suspended turbid liquids to separate solid and semi-solid impurities. Available in various sizes and specifications, it can be cut and customized.

Common types of industrial filter paper include: grinder filter paper, machine tool filter paper, honing machine filter paper, grinding fluid filter paper, machining center filter paper, cutting fluid filter paper, wire drawing oil filter paper, grinding oil filter paper, coolant filter paper, etc.

Technical Parameters

● Filter consumables with multiple precision levels from 7μ to 50μ, used for vacuum negative pressure paper band filters, Hoffman filters, and gravity paper band filters.

● Custom-cut filter consumables; paper rolls can be made in various specifications, with a minimum width of 400mm to 2300mm.

● Paper rolls come in various diameters and multiple core inner diameters. Filter paper thickness ranges from 0.12mm to 0.49mm, with a weight of 18-82g/m2.

● The selection of filter consumables is as important as the filtration equipment already in use. Raw materials for making filter consumables typically include polypropylene, polyester, polypropylene, synthetic fibers, polyester-cellulose blends, etc.

● The wet tensile strength of filter paper is crucial, as it must have sufficient strength during operation to pull its own weight, the weight of the filter cake on its surface, and the friction with the chain.

● When selecting filter paper, factors such as the required filtration accuracy, specific filtration equipment type, coolant temperature, and pH level must be considered.

● Filter paper must be seamless along the length direction to prevent leakage of impurities.

● Filter paper should have uniform thickness and evenly distributed fibers.

Filter Paper Features:

1. High tensile strength and low coefficient of variation. Advanced web-forming and reinforcement processes enhance and stabilize tensile strength, ensuring consistency between initial and operational strength.

2. High filtration accuracy and efficiency. A combination of polyester fibers and polymer membranes allows the selected filtration material to meet user-specified precision requirements.

3. The filter material is resistant to corrosion by cutting fluids and does not alter their chemical properties. It is acid and alkali resistant and can operate normally within a temperature range of -40°C to 120°C.

4. The selected filtration material can withstand mechanical forces and temperature effects from filtration equipment. For cutting fluid filtration, the wet breaking strength of the material does not decrease.

5. The filtration material requires high porosity, low filtration resistance, and high flow capacity, along with strong dirt-holding capacity to improve filtration efficiency, extend service life, reduce material consumption, and lower filtration costs.

Application Scope

Used for machine tools, cutting fluids, grinders, and emulsions. The material is polyester, also known as polyester filter cloth.

Used in steel mills, aluminum plants, and cold-rolled and hot-rolled thin sheet production processes in rolling mills. Filter paper for filtering emulsions, coolants, and rolling oils is called pool filter paper.
