1. Capability Introduction

Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) refers to the ability of equipment or systems to operate as required in their electromagnetic environment without causing harmful electromagnetic interference to any other devices in that environment. It involves a comprehensive evaluation of the electromagnetic interference (EMI) generated by electronic products and their immunity to interference (EMS), making it one of the critical indicators of product quality. The purpose of EMC testing is to assess the impact of electromagnetic radiation emitted by electrical products on humans, public power grids, and other normally operating electrical products.

Jiayu Testing has strictly constructed an EMC laboratory in accordance with international standards, equipped with advanced and precise testing instruments. The laboratory is accredited by CNAS, CMA, and CBTL, and is supported by a team of highly skilled technical professionals with extensive industry experience and robust testing capabilities, providing customers with one-stop EMC technical services.

2. Testing Content

EMC = EMI + EMS

EMC includes two aspects of requirements: on one hand, it means that the electromagnetic disturbance (Electromagnetic Interference, or EMI) generated by equipment during normal operation must not exceed certain limits in its environment; on the other hand, it means that the equipment must possess a certain degree of immunity to electromagnetic disturbances present in its environment, i.e., Electromagnetic Susceptibility (EMS).
