Product Overview:

Fully automatic water softening equipment, also known as (water softener, sodium ion exchanger, water softening device, water quality softener, etc.), is available in configurations such as single tank, double tank, and multi-tank combinations. The control methods are divided into time-based and flow-based control, with a single tank production capacity ranging from 1 ton/hour to 100 tons/hour.

Application Scope:

Industrial boilers, central air conditioning, heat exchangers, hotels and restaurants, food, chemical, laundry and dyeing, medical and health industries, among others.

Working Principle:

Water hardness is primarily composed of cations: calcium and magnesium ions. When raw water containing hardness passes through the resin layer of the exchanger, the calcium and magnesium ions in the water are adsorbed by the resin, while sodium ions are released simultaneously. As a result, the water flowing out of the exchanger becomes softened water with the hardness ions removed. When the resin adsorbing calcium and magnesium ions reaches a certain saturation level, the hardness of the effluent increases. At this point, the water softener automatically performs the regeneration of the exhausted resin according to a predetermined program, using a high-concentration sodium chloride solution to pass through the resin layer, restoring the exhausted resin back to its sodium form.
