HY-503 Carbon Fiber Sizing Agent

Introduction:

         This product is a specially modified macromolecular polyurethane polymer emulsion with excellent performance. It has outstanding positive synergistic effects with traditional sizing agents, resulting in a smoother feel after bundling and effectively enhancing the adhesion between fibers and the hardness of the bundles. The chopped glass fiber materials treated with this product exhibit thermoplasticity, good compatibility with thermoplastic materials such as PA and PE, and excellent dispersibility in composite systems, significantly improving the mechanical properties and wear resistance of the composites.

Features:

1. Improved Adhesion: The primary function is to enhance the adhesion between carbon fiber and resin, preventing delamination and increasing strength.
2. Enhanced Mechanical Properties: By improving fiber-matrix bonding, the sizing agent can enhance the tensile strength, flexural strength, and impact resistance of composites.
3. Increased Durability: Improved bonding and reduced water absorption provide better resistance to moisture, chemicals, and other environmental factors.
4. Improved Processing: Some sizing agents also improve the processing of carbon fiber, making it easier to handle, disperse, and incorporate into composites.

Usage Instructions:

1. When used as a carbon fiber sizing agent, it is recommended to dilute with water. It is advised to add 3-8 times water for dilution and mix thoroughly.
2. After diluting the sizing agent, add it to the impregnation tank. The initial concentration can be slightly higher.
3. As the usage frequency of the chopped carbon fiber sizing agent increases, the concentration of the additive in the impregnation tank gradually decreases. It is necessary to periodically replenish the diluted additive, recommended every 1-3 cycles.
4. Use the diluted additive as soon as possible; it should not be stored for long periods.
