Flame-retardant fiberglass daylighting panels (transparent sheets) contain UV additives that can delay yellowing.
Flame-retardant Yunaidaylighting panels are mainly used in steel mills, high-temperature environments with furnaces, areas with spark splashes, or other special occasions requiring flame retardancy.

Yunaidaylighting panels currently produced by Yunai Industrial are divided into two types: Class A flame retardant (50FR type, oxygen index 30) and Class B flame retardant (25HTH type, oxygen index 26). Both Class A and Class B flame-retardant Yunaidaylighting panels are manufactured using resin with flame-retardant components in its molecular structure (also known as reactive flame-retardant resin). In contrast, daylighting panels from other domestic manufacturers are produced using resin containing flame-retardant additives (also known as additive flame-retardant resin). Therefore, reactive flame-retardant resin performs better than additive flame-retardant resin.

Compared to general daylighting panels, Yunai flame-retardant daylighting panels have slightly inferior aging resistance and yellowing resistance due to the presence of flame-retardant components in the resin material. Tests show that after one year, Class A flame-retardant panels may show signs of yellowing, while Class B flame-retardant panels may exhibit slight yellowing (Class A panels yellow more easily than Class B panels). Over time, yellowing will become more noticeable. However, flame-retardant daylighting panels contain additional UV additives that can delay yellowing and maintain the light transmittance of the panels. In summary: Flame-retardant daylighting panels are more prone to yellowing than general daylighting panels, but this does not affect their quality. The light transmittance will gradually decrease with prolonged use, and it cannot be guaranteed that the transmittance loss will be only 3%–10% during the warranty period. However, yellowing does not signify the end of the panel's lifespan. The mechanical strength and other performance characteristics remain largely unchanged and can still meet usage requirements. Therefore, the warranty period promised by our company remains unchanged!
