I. Product Performance
DTPMPA is easily soluble in acidic solutions, offering excellent scale and corrosion inhibition with good temperature resistance. It can inhibit the formation of carbonate and sulfate scales, as well as phosphate scales. DTPMPA has higher heat resistance compared to ATMP and EDTMPS, with a decomposition temperature of 228-230°C for its dry product. DTPMPA has high calcium solubility, and its scale inhibition capability at pH=10-11 is significantly better than ATMP and HEDP. It provides good scale inhibition for barium sulfate and has no adverse effect on the quality of H2O2 usage.

III. Applications
DTPMPA is primarily used as an excellent corrosion and scale inhibitor in circulating cooling water and boiler water. It is particularly suitable for treating water with high hardness, high alkalinity, and high pH. It provides effective corrosion and scale inhibition for barium carbonate and barium sulfate in oilfield water injection and power plant ash flushing systems.
DTPMPA is also used as a peroxide stabilizer, chelating agent in textile dyeing, pigment dispersant, oxygen delignification stabilizer, trace element carrier in fertilizers, and concrete additive. Additionally, it is widely applied in papermaking, electroplating, metal pickling, and cosmetics.
IV. Packaging and Storage
DTPMPA is packaged in plastic drums, 30kg per drum or as required by the customer. It should be stored in a cool, indoor place with a storage period of ten months.
V. Safety Precautions
DTPMPA is acidic and should be avoided from contact with eyes and skin. In case of splashing, rinse immediately with plenty of water.
