Product Description: Valnemulin is a new generation of semi-synthetic pleuromutilin antibiotics, belonging to the diterpene class, and is in the same category as tiamulin. It is an antibiotic specifically for animals; mainly used to prevent and treat mycoplasma diseases and Gram-positive bacterial infections in pigs, cattle, sheep, and poultry. The antibacterial mechanism of valnemulin is similar to that of tiamulin, which involves binding to the 50S subunit of the pathogen's ribosome to inhibit protein synthesis. Specifically, by interacting with the V region of the 23S RNA of the pathogen's ribosome, it prevents the correct positioning of peptidyl transferase at the CCA-end of tRNA, thereby inhibiting the synthesis of the pathogen's proteins and leading to its death.
