The PEF Jaw Crusher is commonly known as a jaw crusher. It consists of a crushing chamber formed by two jaw plates: the movable jaw and the fixed jaw. One is the fixed jaw plate (stationary jaw), which is vertically or slightly outwardly inclined at the top and fixed to the front wall of the machine. The other is the movable jaw plate (movable jaw), positioned at an angle, forming a crushing chamber that is wider at the top and narrower at the bottom.
Working Principle of the PEF Jaw Crusher:
The crushing method of the jaw crusher is a curved extrusion type. The motor drives the belt and pulley, causing the eccentric shaft to move the movable jaw up and down. When the movable jaw rises, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw increases, pushing the movable jaw plate closer to the fixed jaw plate. At the same time, the material is subjected to multiple crushing actions such as extrusion, rubbing, and grinding. When the movable jaw descends, the angle between the toggle plate and the movable jaw decreases. Under the action of the pull rod and spring, the movable jaw plate moves away from the fixed jaw plate, allowing the crushed material to be discharged from the lower opening of the crushing chamber. As the motor continues to run, the movable jaw of the crusher performs periodic crushing and discharging, enabling batch production.
