Niobium Powder is a powder form of metallic niobium with the following main characteristics:

Chemical Properties

Niobium powder is stable in air at room temperature and begins to oxidize at 200°C, forming a dense oxide film. This oxide film exhibits the valve metal property of unidirectional conductivity. Niobium powder dissolves in hot hydrofluoric acid but not in aqua regia, and it has strong corrosion resistance to various acids.

Equipment Selection: Airflow Pulverizer or Nitrogen-Protected Airflow Pulverizer

1. Equipment Working Principle:

Raw materials in the feed bin are conveyed into the grinding chamber of the airflow mill via an automatic feeding device (the operation of the feeding device is controlled by the system's negative pressure). In the grinding zone, there are four nozzles where compressed air is accelerated into supersonic airflow and injected into the grinding area, fluidizing the materials and accelerating the particles. The accelerated particles collide with each other at the intersection points of the nozzles, resulting in pulverization. The pulverized materials are then transported by the upward airflow to the classification zone, where a horizontally arranged classification wheel separates the fine powder that meets the particle size requirements. This fine powder enters the rear collection device (dust collector) for collection and discharge. Coarse particles that do not meet the requirements are returned to the grinding zone for further pulverization.

The airflow pulverizing classifier utilizes supersonic airflow for pulverization and operates as a closed system. This model incorporates computational fluid dynamics simulation software developed by the aerodynamics research institute to calculate a more suitable flow field and ideal pressure distribution, guiding the design to improve pulverization efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and minimize over-pulverization.

2). Capable of low-temperature, medium-free pulverization, ensuring product purity and physical properties.

3). Wide range of particle sizes can be pulverized, with adjustable fineness within a certain range.

4). Built-in self-diverging micro-powder classifier with strong classification effectiveness for ultra-fine powders, resulting in a narrower and more concentrated particle size distribution.

5). Compact equipment structure with a small footprint.

6). Operates under negative pressure, reducing dust pollution and ensuring a clean environment with dust emissions not exceeding 10mg/m3.

7). High degree of automation, enabling one-button start/stop, remote control capability when connected to a central control system, strong stability, and easy operation. (Optional, subject to the contract's supply scope).

8). The company has specially developed a compartmentalized offline dust cleaning collection device for lightweight materials (such as graphite) and materials with severe agglomeration at submicron or nano levels, reducing product adhesion to bags during operation. (Optional based on material characteristics, actual supply subject to contract agreement).

9). For flammable, explosive, or oxidizable materials, inert gas can be used as the medium for closed pulverization and classification, with the inert gas recycled and low loss. (Optional based on material characteristics, subject to contract supply scope).

10). Due to material properties, some materials may adhere to the equipment after pulverization. For such materials, manhole doors can be installed at prone areas to facilitate manual cleaning after shutdown. (Optional based on material properties, actual supply subject to contract agreement).
