3 Features of Roller Conveyors
Roller conveyors are easy to connect and transition between, allowing multiple roller lines and other conveying equipment or specialized machines to form complex logistics transport systems to meet various process needs. Accumulating rollers can be used to achieve material accumulation and transport. Roller conveyors have a simple structure, high reliability, and are easy to maintain.

For powered roller conveyors, considering the tensile strength of the chain, the maximum single line length generally does not exceed 10 meters.
To customize a roller conveyor, please call or confirm the following technical parameters:
1. Length, width, and height of the transported object;
2. Weight of each transport unit;
3. Condition of the bottom of the transported item;
4. Any special environmental requirements (e.g., humidity, high temperature, chemical exposure, etc.);
5. Whether the conveyor is non-powered or motor-driven.
To ensure smooth transport of goods, at least three rollers must be in contact with the transported item at any time. Soft bag packages should be transported on pallets when necessary.
1. Selection of roller length:
Rollers of appropriate width should be selected for goods of different widths, generally following the rule of "transported item width + 50mm".
2. Selection of roller wall thickness and shaft diameter:
Based on the weight of the transported item distributed evenly across the contacting rollers, calculate the required load-bearing capacity per roller to determine the wall thickness and shaft diameter.
3. Roller material and surface treatment:
Depending on the transport environment, determine the material and surface treatment of the rollers (galvanized carbon steel, stainless steel, blackening, or rubber coating).
4. Selection of roller installation method:
According to the specific requirements of the overall conveyor, choose the installation method: spring press-in type, internal threaded shaft type, full flat tenon type, through-shaft pin hole type, etc.
For tapered rollers in curved conveyors, the roller surface width and taper depend on the貨物尺寸 (item dimensions) and turning radius.
