Mold flying tables must have precise flatness. To achieve precise flatness, the following conditions must be met:

1. Thickness requirements: mainly include the thickness of the working surface of the platform, the thickness and height of the side enclosure, as well as the thickness, height, and density of the bottom rib plates.

2. Material requirements: high-strength cast iron HT200-300, hardness: HB170-240.

3. Artificial annealing: aged in a tempering kiln with high-temperature annealing at 600-700 degrees.

4. Natural aging: according to national standards, it should be 2-3 years of natural aging. However, due to the long duration of this process and the impact on corporate cash flow, it is no longer feasible to wait that long. Instead, vibrators are commonly used for vibration aging replacement. Although the effectiveness of this process is not yet clear, it is widely used internationally.

5. Sand holes and air holes: Grade 0 and Grade 1 platforms are not allowed to have air holes or sand holes. Grade 2 and Grade 3 can use solid fillers of the same material as the platform to fill air holes and sand holes. Note: The hardness of the filler must be lower than that of the platform itself.

6. Scraping process: Manual scraping is the most important process in the processing of Guangzhou mold flying tables. It determines the flatness error of the Guangzhou mold flying table and the number of contact points on the working surface. For a Grade 0 plate platform, there should be no less than 25 points within a 25mm square area on each side; for a Grade 1 platform, no less than 20 points; for a Grade 2 flat platform, no less than 16 points; for a Grade 3 flat platform, no less than 12 points. After scraping, the four edges of the platform are blunted.
