Measurement Principle:

The ORP sensor is a composite electrode combining a glass indicator electrode and a reference electrode. The measurement of ORP is based on the potential difference measured in the solution by the working battery formed by the measuring electrode and the reference electrode. It utilizes the linear relationship between the ORP value of the solution and the electrical potential of the working battery to achieve online ORP monitoring.
