Measurement Principle:

Electromagnetic flowmeters operate based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. Specifically, when a conductive fluid moves through a magnetic field, it cuts the magnetic lines of force, generating an induced electromotive force perpendicular to both the flow velocity vector and the magnetic field vector. This induced electromotive force is proportional to the flow rate, and after processing and calculation, it is used to determine instantaneous and cumulative flow rates.
