Special Structure Polysiloxane

I. Product Characteristics:

This product is a fluorinated polysiloxane copolymer with active functional groups. The hydroxyl functional groups on the molecular chain can react with diisocyanates to form a cross-linked network structure, which helps create a surface film with special functions, offering excellent non-stick properties, corrosion resistance, low friction, and more. It is used in the synthesis of special fluorinated polyurethane adhesives and to achieve hydrophobic and oleophobic effects on various metal surfaces. It also serves as a surface finishing agent, special antifouling coating, optical surface treatment, release agent, etc.

II. Product Applications:

(1) Can be used to prepare exterior wall coatings for various buildings, offering weather resistance and self-cleaning properties. It provides significant hydrophobic, oleophobic, and antifouling effects, protecting building structures and extending the lifespan of exterior coatings without discoloration.

(2) Suitable for rust prevention on large metal components of buildings, especially for corrosion-resistant coatings under harsh environmental conditions, such as resistance to acids, alkalis, and oxidizing agents. It is also used for coating the shells of various vehicles.

(3) This fluorosilicone resin contains multiple hydroxyl groups. After cross-linking and curing, it can be widely used on aluminum alloys, glass, cast iron, etc., as a fiber treatment agent, release agent, water and oil repellent, non-stick finishing agent, optical finishing agent, and sealant.

(4) Surface coating for electronic and electrical components, as well as glass surface treatment.

Application Method: Directly add 1%-2% into the treatment system. Use isocyanates such as MDI, SDI, or IPDI for cross-linking reactions to form a film coating.

III. Storage and Usage Notes:

Shelf life: 6 months. Store in a ventilated, moisture-proof, cool, and dry environment. Avoid direct sunlight or other light exposure. After opening, use as soon as possible. If not fully used, immediately seal the container tightly to prevent moisture or other unknown materials from contaminating the product and affecting its performance.
