KX-501A Room Temperature Curable Fluoro Silicone Resin

Self-crosslinking fluoro silicone resin contains multiple hydroxyl groups. It can self-crosslink and cure into a transparent film with low surface tension at certain temperatures, or form a film through room temperature crosslinking in the presence of a curing agent. This coating film exhibits high water resistance, non-adhesiveness, strong self-cleaning properties, low friction coefficient, and maintains excellent adhesion. It also possesses outstanding weather resistance and oil resistance. It can be used to produce coatings, release agents, and finishing agents for textiles, leather, and paper.

Application Fields 

This fluoro silicone resin contains multiple hydroxyl groups and can self-crosslink and cure on aluminum alloys, glass, cast iron, etc. It is widely used as a treatment agent for fibers, release agent, water and oil repellent, non-adhesive coating, optical coating, and sealant.

Curing conditions: 160°C for 0.5 hours to form a transparent film. The film exhibits release properties, water and oil resistance (water contact angle 110°), stain resistance, and non-adhesiveness.

Storage and Shelf Life

Storage period is 24 months under sealed and room temperature conditions.
