KX-501 Fluorosilicone Resin

Characteristics: This fluorosilicone resin is a fluorine-modified high molecular polysiloxane. It can form a transparent cured film with low surface tension when used alone, or when added to other resins, it imparts high water resistance, excellent smooth hand feel, anti-adhesion properties, outstanding weather resistance, temperature resistance, and the ability to form an elastic protective film with non-stick characteristics. It is widely used as a fiber treatment agent, release agent, water and oil repellent, non-stick finishing agent, optical coating agent, and sealant.

Solubility: Soluble in acetate esters, benzene-based solvents, ketones; insoluble in water and ethanol.

Applications: This fluorosilicone resin is suitable for floor wax, leather lubricants, oil-based high-temperature resistant coatings, and high-temperature metal non-stick coatings. It can be added to silicone resins or other organic resins to significantly improve the anti-adhesion, smoothness, and temperature resistance of the coating film.

Usage Method

Curing conditions: Forms a transparent film after 30 minutes at 280°C. The film exhibits release properties, water and oil repellency (water contact angle 110°), anti-fouling, and non-stick characteristics. It can also be used directly or diluted with benzene-based solvents, esters, or chlorinated hydrocarbons and added to resins as an additive. Recommended dosage: 0.3%-2%.

Storage and Shelf Life

Storage period is 24 months under sealed and room temperature conditions.
