1. Excellent Thermal Insulation

Sunlight panels possess strong thermal insulation properties, with a lower thermal conductivity compared to glass and other plastics. Their insulation effect is 7%–25% higher than that of equivalent glass, and PC sunlight panels achieve up to 49% insulation. This significantly reduces heat loss, making them an environmentally friendly material for buildings with heating systems.

2. Lightweight and Highly Flame Retardant

Sunlight panels are lightweight, only half the weight of glass, making them easy to transport and install. They come with sealing strips and windproof caps to ensure no water leakage. The self-ignition point of sunlight panels is 580°C, and they self-extinguish after being removed from a flame. When burning, they do not produce toxic gases and do not contribute to the spread of fire.

3. High Light Transmittance, Anti-Yellowing, and Anti-Drip Properties

Sunlight panels are widely used in greenhouses primarily because their light transmittance exceeds 89%. They are treated with anti-UV coatings, which promote greenhouse efficiency and prevent yellowing over long-term use. Additionally, one side is treated with anti-condensation technology. For example, when the outdoor temperature is 0°C and the indoor temperature is 23°C with indoor relative humidity below 80%, the inner surface of the material does not form condensation. Instead, dew flows along the surface of the panel and does not drip.
