Polyurethane composite cable trays are made from two-component polyurethane and glass fiber, produced through closed feeding and thermosetting molding. The primary material is a high-performance polyurethane pultrusion system developed by Bayer MaterialScience (China) Co., Ltd., originating from Germany. This material is free of styrene solvent (a toxic chemical), and no solvent volatilization or styrene emissions occur during production.

The glass fiber content in polyurethane pultrusion reaches as high as 83%. While achieving the same performance indicators, the thickness of the product is approximately half that of unsaturated polyester resin systems.

Polyurethane cable trays exhibit high tensile strength, impact resistance, and corrosion resistance. Compared to other resins such as unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester, polyurethane comprehensively enhances the physical properties of the product. The strength and stiffness of polyurethane are 2-5 times higher than those of unsaturated polyester resin.

Polyurethane products possess excellent toughness, with processed and punched edges showing minimal or no microcracks. The surface is smooth and fine, with high rigidity and low porosity, facilitating subsequent processing such as drilling, machining, and assembly. Compared to pultruded products made from unsaturated polyester or vinyl ester resins, polyurethane pultrusion offers significant advantages in terms of on-site construction convenience and service life.
