Product Introduction:

The low temperature globe valve is suitable for the management system of low-temperature liquid storage and transportation equipment, featuring flexible switching and sealing. It can also be used in management systems for other low-temperature and cryogenic media. This type of globe valve is mainly used in low-temperature liquid medium systems (such as liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon), offering characteristics like flexible switching, sealing, and pressure resistance.

Working Principle:

Materials used in low-temperature applications must ensure their low-temperature performance, primarily their cold impact resistance. By selecting appropriate materials for internal components, sufficient cold impact resistance is achieved to prevent fracture. C and Cr alloy steels quickly lose impact resistance at -20°C, so their usage temperatures are limited to -30°C and -50°C, respectively. Nickel steel with 3.5% Ni content can be used down to -100°C, while nickel steel with 9% Ni content can be used down to -196°C. Austenitic stainless steel, nickel, Monel alloy, Hastelloy, titanium, aluminum alloy, and bronze can be used at even lower temperatures (-273°C).

Product Features:

1. The valve should be capable of long-term operation in low-temperature media and surrounding environmental temperatures.

2. The valve should not become a heat source in the low-temperature system. This is because heat inflow not only reduces thermal efficiency but, if excessive, can also cause internal fluid evaporation, leading to abnormal pressure increases and potential hazards.

3. Low-temperature media should not adversely affect handwheel operation and packing seal performance.

4. Fire-safe structure for valve assemblies directly in contact with low-temperature media.

5. Valve assemblies operating at low temperatures cannot be lubricated, so structural measures must be taken to prevent friction parts from scuffing.
