Product Introduction

   The NDZF series medium-frequency generator set, also known as the frequency-doubling generator set (abbreviation: frequency-doubling set), is used for transformer induced withstand voltage tests and partial discharge tests. It is driven by an asynchronous motor (50Hz, 380V) to power a doubly-fed generator via a coupling, providing a constant frequency: 100--200Hz (industry standard requires an output frequency of 150Hz), with a rated output voltage of 0--800V adjustable three-phase medium-frequency power supply.

Product Features

   After the three-phase industrial frequency asynchronous motor is started directly or via Y-Δ starting, the generator speed approaches the rated speed. The electromotive force induced in the three-phase fundamental wave auxiliary winding on the motor stator is rectified by a three-phase bridge rectifier into direct current and supplied to the AC exciter stator winding through a voltage regulator. The three-phase symmetrical winding on the AC exciter rotor (armature) generates a three-phase symmetrical electromotive force, which is rectified by a rotating rectifier into direct current and supplied to the field winding of the medium-frequency generator, causing the medium-frequency generator to generate electricity. By adjusting the voltage setting potentiometer externally connected to the voltage regulator, the generator output voltage gradually increases or decreases.
