Casein Peptone

1. Product Characteristics:

Casein peptone appears as a white or light yellow powder, featuring excellent physical properties such as light color, easy solubility, transparency, and absence of sediment.

2. Product Applications:

（1）As a food additive, casein peptone is incorporated into foods like soy sauce to increase the amino acid nitrogen content, enhancing the quality of soy sauce and improving the texture and stability of food products.

（2）As a supplementary factor in microbial culture, it provides the nitrogen source required for the growth and development of most microorganisms. It is used for bacterial culture, isolation, proliferation, identification, as well as in the preparation of media for biochemical characteristic tests, such as sterile test media and anaerobic culture media.

（3）As a primary raw material in microbial culture media, casein peptone is also widely used in high-quality antibiotics, vitamins, pharmaceutical industries, and fermentation industries including amino acids, organic acids, enzyme preparations, and xanthan gum.
