Welding plate use: Used for the welding process of workpieces. Unlike riveting plates, it has no holes; the working surface is flat or with T-slots. T-slots are mainly used to fix welding pieces, while holes are primarily for cleaning iron slag and welding waste during riveting. Of course, some welding plates are flat, meaning without holes or slots. Cast iron welding plates have good heat resistance and corrosion resistance, making them widely used in industrial production.

The accuracy of welding plates is divided into four grades: 1, 2, 3, and precision planing. Precision planing welding plates are the main procurement objects in general welding work. When the plate accuracy decreases, it can be restored through debugging or scraping processes.
The working surface of the welding platform can be rectangular, square, or circular. Material: High-strength cast iron HT200-300, with a working surface hardness of HB170-240. After two artificial treatments (artificial annealing at 600°C--700°C and vibration aging), the product ensures stable accuracy and good wear resistance.
Precautions for using welding plates: The surface should be cleaned before use, workpieces should be firmly fixed, and after welding is completed, workpieces should be promptly removed to prevent plate deformation. Although the product has wear and corrosion resistance, it should not be stored in damp or dark places. Regular inspection of the plate's accuracy is necessary.
