T-225 Acrylic Acid-Hydroxypropyl Acrylate Copolymer

T-225 is a copolymer of acrylic acid and hydroxypropyl acrylate. It exhibits excellent dispersing effects on scale such as calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, and magnesium phosphate, particularly in inhibiting the formation and deposition of calcium phosphate scale. It also demonstrates good dispersing performance for iron oxide, sludge, clay, and oil fouling. T-225 is suitable for use in circulating cooling water under alkaline conditions and in the presence of high phosphate levels.

Product Performance

(1) T-225BP-8W30 can effectively inhibit the formation and deposition of calcium carbonate and calcium phosphate scale.

(2) T-225BP-8W30 has good synergistic effects with other corrosion and scale inhibitors and can be compounded with organic phosphates, BTA, etc.

(3) It maintains good scale inhibition and dispersing performance under high temperature and alkaline conditions.

Product Parameters

Usage Method: T-225 must be used in combination with other corrosion inhibitors. The dosage depends on the total calcium hardness in the water, with a general dosage of 10-30 mg/L.

Application Areas

● Used as a scale inhibitor and dispersant in various circulating cooling water systems, especially in high turbidity and dust-polluted environments;

● Used for water treatment in heating systems and non-evaporative boiler feedwater;

● Used as a scale inhibitor and dispersant in oilfield reinjection water with high calcium content;

● Also commonly used as a dispersant during pre-filming.
