Product Overview: 

GX-101 Black Diamond - Fluorocarbon Modified High-Performance Waterproof Coating is a self-developed, single-component water-based waterproof material specifically designed for repair applications. It primarily consists of fluorocarbon emulsion and high-elasticity rubber materials, combined with modified additives, anti-aging agents, active agents, and pigments to form a waterproof coating with high elasticity and heat resistance.

Scope of Application:

Suitable for waterproofing and damp-proofing treatments on various concrete and masonry structures, both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Particularly ideal for waterproofing applications on exposed roofs, basements, garages, floors, kitchens, bathrooms, as well as engineering projects such as bridges, tunnels, and roads.

Usage Method:

The construction surface must be solid, level, clean, and dry; otherwise, issues such as hollowing, peeling, or detachment may occur. Detailed treatment should be applied to joint areas such as expansion joints, inside and outside corners, pipe roots, and drain outlets. After the first coat is applied, reinforcement fabric should be laid as a strengthening layer. Using a roller or brush, apply the coating evenly in two to three layers using the "cross-hatch" method, with an interval of approximately 2-4 hours between each layer. The next step can only proceed when the surface is no longer sticky. After multiple layers, the average thickness of the coating film should be no less than 0.6-1.5 mm or meet engineering design requirements. The film requires over 48 hours to air dry naturally, and drying time should be extended in winter before conducting a water tightness test.

Precautions:

The coating film must be completely dry before water accumulation. Construction is not suitable outdoors during rainy, foggy, or snowy weather.

This product has a characteristic of softening at high temperatures, which may cause stickiness during application in hot conditions. It is recommended to apply in the early morning or evening during summer or high-temperature weather.

Do not add water to the coating. High humidity weather and enclosed spaces may slow down the film formation speed. It is advised to use a primer to seal and reinforce the base surface. Construction can only begin after the primer has completely dried. During subsequent construction steps, care must be taken not to damage the waterproof coating layer to avoid affecting its performance.

Transportation and Storage:

The product should be stored and transported at temperatures between 5°C and 40°C, kept in a ventilated and cool place, with a shelf life of one year. Please protect from sunlight, rain, and fire.
