ST-1573 Bromine Value/Bromine Index Tester

Product Introduction:

        The ST-1573 Bromine Value/Bromine Index Tester is based on the micro-coulometric principle and is computer-controlled. It is an effective instrument for determining bromine value and bromine index in petrochemical process control analysis and product quality testing. Using the micro-coulometric titration principle, the sample is directly added to the titration cell, where bromine is generated through electrolysis and reacts with the substances consumed by the sample. After the reaction is complete, the electrolysis for bromine generation automatically stops. The microcomputer automatically calculates the bromine value and bromine index content in the sample based on the electricity consumed for bromine generation. The computer controls the measurement and electrolysis and performs data processing. It is widely used for determining the bromine value and bromine index of petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, diesel, lubricating oil, and light and heavy aromatic hydrocarbons.
