This RS232 serial port digital-to-analog converter features an 8-channel 8-bit D/A conversion dedicated chip and a precision voltage reference, with a control output voltage accuracy error of no more than 0.01V. By sending a simple visual ASCII command through a computer's serial port (or other microcontrollers, PLCs, or DSPs with serial ports), it is convenient to control the output voltage values set for the 8 digital-to-analog conversion channels. For example, if the computer's serial port outputs the string "C2V2660" to this control board, the board will control channel 2 to output 2.66V; if the computer's serial port outputs the string "C6V3060" to this control board, the board will control channel 6 to output 3.06V. The commands are very simple and require no understanding of complex hardware or timing control. Output voltage range: 0-5V (with 2 channels flexibly configurable for maximum output voltage). Baud rate is 9600, but can be customized according to user requirements. Widely used in various industrial control fields that require voltage control, such as motor speed regulation, voltage-controlled oscillation, servo control, etc.
There are three operating modes:



1. Single-channel control mode: Send one command via the serial port to control one digital-to-analog conversion channel to output the set voltage value at a time.
2. 4-channel control mode: Send one command via the serial port to control four digital-to-analog conversion channels to output their respective set voltage values simultaneously. Used for synchronously setting the output voltages of 4 channels.
3. 8-channel control mode: Send one command via the serial port to control eight digital-to-analog conversion channels to output their respective set voltage values simultaneously. Used for synchronously setting the output voltages of 8 channels.
