Recently, with the first shovel of hot-steamed steel slag slowly poured into the feeding screen, the Panshi Jianlong Steel Slag Treatment Renovation Project was officially put into operation. This marks a new milestone in the company's steel slag treatment process, achieving a dual leap in both technology and environmental protection.
It is reported that the project utilized the existing Huaxing plant for renovation, with a total area of 7,517.98 square meters, and added one steel slag treatment production line and one crushing and magnetic separation production line. After the renovation, it can process 160,000 tons of steel slag annually, recover approximately 16,000 tons of slag steel and granular steel, with the magnetic separation powder grade exceeding 40% and a recovery volume of 24,000 tons. The metal iron content in the tailings is reduced to below 1.2%, and the steel slag pulverization rate reaches 80%. The slag steel and magnetic separation powder are fully reused, while the tailings can be directly used for cement or road construction, achieving a solid waste recovery rate of 100%. The project adopts an advanced process of "high-temperature steam pressurized hot steaming + rod mill crushing," utilizing high-temperature and high-pressure steam to rapidly react with free calcium oxide (f-CaO) in the steel slag, with a digestion rate of >95%. During the steaming process, desulfurized water is used for recycling, achieving zero wastewater discharge. The hot-steamed steel slag is screened and transported via conveyor belt to the magnetic separation line for deep processing operations such as coarse crushing, rod milling, screening, and magnetic separation, ultimately achieving effective separation of slag and iron. This not only improves resource recovery rates but also enables the deep utilization of steel slag. In the future, Panshi Jianlong will continue to uphold the concept of green development, focus on promoting technological innovation, and contribute to the company's green transformation.
