AOIP DC Voltage and Current Source SN8310

The 8310 is a standard DC voltage and current source. It provides voltages from 100 nV to 110 V and currents from 1 nA to 110 mA with an accuracy better than 0.002% (20 ppm).

It is fully programmable via RS 232 and IEEE 488 (optional) interfaces, making it an instrument for test benches and automated test equipment applications. The SN 8310 also offers a battery option.

The 8310 comes in a compact benchtop enclosure, suitable for field use, benchtop, or panel mounting. It is widely used in metrology departments, quality control units, R&D laboratories, as well as maintenance and calibration companies.

The 8310 requires 30 seconds to warm up and produce an output within 0.002% of the final value, and 5 minutes to achieve an output within 0.0002% of the final value.

With excellent accuracy, stability, and an extended range, the 8310 meets the needs of various applications, which can be categorized into three types:
- DC voltage and current standards for calibrating or testing voltmeters or ammeters (benchtop or panel-mounted), as well as electronic systems such as dividers, amplifiers, converters, oscillators, and other components, whether linear or not.
- Sensor simulation, such as μV, mV, or mA sources, for calibrating controllers, transmitters, recorders, and other instruments used in process control.
- Ultra-stable, programmable, high-precision power supply.
