PTB110

The Vaisala BAROCAP barometer PTB110 can be used for precise atmospheric pressure measurements at room temperature as well as for general ambient pressure monitoring over a wider temperature range.

Vaisala BAROCAP Technology

The PTB110 barometer uses the Vaisala BAROCAP sensor, a silicon capacitive pressure sensor developed by Vaisala for atmospheric pressure measurement applications. This sensor employs the proven and reliable capacitive sensing principle while leveraging the excellent elasticity and mechanical stability of single-crystal silicon.

Accuracy and Stability

The barometer's outstanding long-term stability minimizes or even eliminates the need for field calibration in many applications.

Applications

The PTB110 is suitable for various applications, such as environmental pressure monitoring, buoys, laser interferometers, and agricultural and hydrological measurements. With its low power consumption, the compact PTB110 is particularly well-suited for data loggers. It also features an external on/off control function, which is highly practical when power supply is limited.
