Alternatively, only the 10kV switchgear can be boxed, with 35kV equipment installed outdoors and 10kV equipment and control protection systems installed inside the box. This combination is particularly suitable for the renovation of old stations in rural grid upgrades, where the existing 35kV equipment remains unchanged, and only a 10kV switchgear box needs to be installed to meet the requirements for unattended operation.
