1. Product Overview

The principle of the TC5500 high-precision ultrasonic thickness gauge is similar to that of light wave measurement. The ultrasonic pulse emitted by the probe

reaches the measured object and propagates through it. When it reaches the material interface, it is reflected back to the probe. By precisely measuring the time

it takes for the ultrasonic wave to travel through the material, the thickness of the measured material is determined. This device achieves a high resolution of 0.01mm, with a backlight display

suitable for measurements in low-light environments.

The TC5500 high-precision ultrasonic thickness gauge is suitable for measuring the thickness of various materials that allow ultrasonic waves to propagate at a constant speed internally and

reflect from their back surfaces. This instrument can accurately measure various plates and machined parts. Another important application is monitoring

various pipelines and pressure vessels in production equipment to track the extent of thinning due to corrosion during use. It is widely used in petroleum, chemical metallurgy, shipbuilding, aviation, aerospace,

and other fields.
